With nearly a decade of experience learning 10+ languages, teaching 5 of them, completing a language degree, and earning language coaching certifications, I have faced so many of the emotional, mental, and logistical barriers that we language learners struggle with (I even stopped learning French for a decade because of it).
But I never quit, because I believe in the power, authentic joy, and confidence that language learning can inspire in every one of us (long-lasting benefits that act as transferable skills in many life areas outside of learning too).
Over time, I started noticing that what holds us language learners back MOST is not believing in ourselves, in addition lacking the systems in place that we need to actually "learn how to learn a language". When you not only take all those French and German classes, but ALSO understand your learning process better and deeply understand the whole human you are behind your languages...
You progress with more ease, so you can reach your language dreams more quickly and joyfully.
When we don't have that, no wonder we feel so stuck, get frustrated or anxious, and feel less confident...less like ourselves in our languages.
You're NOT a bad language learner. You just need a guided system in place. Check out support options above to see what could help you best!
